Baby Rompers
This page is devoted to photos and information about the baby rompers I make. Rompers are adorable and easy outfits for babies. No need for matching shirts/pants etc. They are also great gifts for people who have chosen to not find out, or to keep the sex of their child a secret.
You just can't go wring with a romper!
Cameron's Sailor Romper
The blue fabric is a stretch poplin, while the white is a broadcloth. I wanted something stiffer for the hat. While the outfit is cute...it is nothing without the hat!

Gabriel's Romper
The fabric is a seersucker plaid (that I hunted for, for a very long time).
Kayla's Romper
I splurged on this designer fabric because it is so adorable. Thank you JoANN Fabrics!
Jude's Beach Romper
This is a real favorite of mine. I used this wonderful soft denim, that I can't find anymore. I wanted the vintage look with the convenience of snaps, so I used my snap tool and then covered the snaps with a button. As trying to get you 18 month old to stay still long enough to button all those button is silly.
This is from a Vintage Pattern book Aimee got me for Christmas last year called Sewn with Love by Fiona Bell. She goes to estate sales and such and creates patterns based on the vintage clothing she find. Her patterns are on a CD in the back of the book that you print out, but are difficult to figure out, the pieces print on multiple pages and aren't labeled. However, if you have the perseverance you have a beautiful garment in the end.
"Dad's Old Shirt" Romper
I made this romper from an old shirt of my dad's that I had hanging around.
There was just enough fabric to make this 6 month romper. I thought it was a lovely was to recycle clothing. Additionally I will now look for fun fabric in shirts at my local thrift stores.
I am just looking for a place to send people who would like to see what is it I make. Please let me know if you have questions or comments or would like to have me make something.
